deal with conflicts between rapid and new HTML5 tags
Reported by Bryan Larsen | November 16th, 2009 @ 07:47 PM | in Beyond Hobo 1.0
aside, section, header, footer are defined in both HTML5 and in Rapid. Which means that anybody who wishes to output HTML5 cannot output these tags. We need a way that users can create these tags in their output.
One option would be to create an HTML5 mode where Rapid emits the tags rather than div. Another option would be to create alternate tags "aside-html5" or something.

Would it make sense to extend the xml_doctype parameter to indicate HTML5 is being emitted?
