name-one cleared on assication name not found

With a belongs_to association, if you take your string input (called a 'view' here) and replace it with the most basic Rapid basic text field:
<category-view:><name-one/></category-view:>
When the form is submitted with any invalid attribute, the text inputted (er, viewed) here is cleared. It shouldn't be, because the user needs to resubmit the form later on. Furthermore, this is particularly troublesome when one is trying to use the filter chain to change those parameters into IDs.
PS: When autocomplete fails (server not able to handle), for some reason all the text on the page becomes bolded.
