is onBefore honored by Hobo.ajaxRequest?

I'm trying to call code before form submit:
<form update='xxx'
before='alert(1)'>...</form>
If generates code with
onBefore:function(request){alert(1)} in
Hobo.ajaxRequest, but this alert is never really executed.
Do I miss something or is it bug?

Hmmm,
onBeforeisn't even a valid callback for that object. Nor, as far as I can determine, has it ever been a valid callback...There's an
onCreatecallback, but it's expecting a callback with a different signature (see the Responders documentation for more details).For now, I'm removing the reference entirely. Long term, Prototype is likely to be dropped in favor of jQuery.
