Should we be defaulting to :long datetime format in view tags?
Reported by Matt Jones | January 12th, 2010 @ 09:08 PM | in Hobo 1.1
At the moment, the view tag for TimeWithZone calls
to_s(:long)
by default. This breaks the handy behavior
in Rails where defining a global default format
(Time::DATE_FORMATS[:default] = "%m/%d/%Y %I:%M%p"
,
for instance) makes all datetime-ish objects display that way.
Would dropping the :long
make sense?
