Rapid pages should be more configurable

At the very least, the aside stuff should be switchable, as it doesn't always make sense. The pages can be customized one at a time, but it would be useful to have a higher-level switch. Note that you used to be able to switch off asides by not having a param="aside" in your page tag, but that doesn't work anymore.
With the new explicit specification of collections to show in view_hints, it would also be useful to have a switch treat all the child collections like the primary collection.
Note that both these features are easy to implement on a per-page basis, but that gets tedious after a while...
