uninitialized constant User::IncludeInSave (NameError)
Reported by Ryan Long | August 2nd, 2009 @ 08:40 PM | in Hobo 1.0 - Final
When using Ruby 1.9.1p129, Rails 2.3.3, and Edge Hobo as a
plugin as instructed in the "Agility:
Hobo as Plugin Sidebar" in the cookbook, the initial generator
set runs fine until hobo_front_controller
, then dies
with uninitialized constant User::IncludeInSave
(NameError)
. Any subsequent hobo generator fails with the
same error.

Hobo does not yet work with Ruby 1.9. In the meantime you can use 1.8 or JRuby.

What I was doing was making a note on bug 365 of the other bugs. (482 and 478 are the same bug). In other systems, I'd make these bugs a dependent of the others. I guess tags is the lighthouse way of doing it. Let's use "ruby1.9" as the common tag, and make sure you have "1.9" in the title so I can quickly scan.

resolved in http://github.com/tablatom/hobo/commit/f43576746c339d1f5602e2dd9913...
More Ruby 1.9 issues remain, which I'm working on.
