transition-buttons should have a option to link to forms instead for transitions that take parameters
Reported by kevinpfromnm | July 15th, 2009 @ 08:42 PM | in Beyond Hobo 1.0
Some transitions just do not make sense without supplying more information (i.e. using the appropriate lifecycle transition form). transition-buttons is great except for that common case where you can't use it because you don't want certain transitions done without accompanying parameters.

That or ability to specify which transitions to use a button for and which to use a link for.
Or even just the ability to skip certain transitions.

Maybe we should have a
<transition-links>
tag for this situation. -

After running into a need for this AGAIN, I went ahead and fixed it. :)
Commit is on my soon-to-be merged al2o3cr-merge branch.

Essentially, if a transition requires params, the button changes to a 'GET' on the lifecycle action. AJAX options are silently dropped on the floor in this case, as I can't think of a universal way to make this behave.
