support for blank datetimes

Tom obliged. Now I have the same need but for nil datetimes rather than dates. Any chance of getting the same hack for datetimes?

Hmmm, the Date hack responded to 0 in year, month or day. 0 is a valid hour, minute or second, though, so we can't use quite the same hack. Thoughts?

sounds good to me. Fix will be posted to github within about 5 minutes. Note that I just added the support to "Time", which should handle "DateTime" as well. Let me know if it doesn't.
