In place editor not working after ajax update
Reported by ronin-25958 (at lighthouseapp) | October 17th, 2008 @ 09:42 PM | in Hobo 1.0 - Final
The in place editor is not working in an area which was updated by means of an ajax-request. I used the link_to_remote method to update an area which contains several in-place editors and other hobo form-elements.
Before the update the in-place editors in that area work fine; by on-click the text changes to a textfield, you can edit it and it saves the changes. After the ajax-update of the area nothing happens when you click on a text which shall turn into an in-place editor. The text reamins as it is - no editor appears.
However I figured out, that when you click on a checkbox (generated by the hobo editor tag) which is also in the ajax-updated area the checkbox is working fine and AFTERWARDS the in-place editor also works.
I use hobo 0.8.3 but observed the same already in version 0.7.3 and 0.7.5.

We need to set
Event.addBehavior.reassignAfterAjax = true
In the mean time you can set that in your application.js
