restet_password link in " forgotten password" mail broken

From an untampered with, fresh app (except from adding
config.action_mailer.delivery_method). I tested the "Forgot your
password?" link from the login page. I received the e-mail, clicked
the reset link and got: NoMethodError in
UsersController#reset_password undefined method transition' for
#ActionView::Base:0x3406f5c
