Turns out acts_as_nested_set doesn't use foreign keys anyway, so this is not really a Hobo bug.
It's true that we have support for the position column with acts_as_list, so maybe we're inconsistent but we can't monkey patch every plugin that expects database columns. If anything we should remove the acts_as_list monkey patch.
